

Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) commuter buses provide shuttle bus service to the District. Bus service from West Falls Church to Loudoun County is also available. Commuter buses are equipped with reclining seats, a restroom, reading lights, overhead bins and fare boxes. Loudoun County Transit operates weekday morning and late afternoon rush hour service from Loudoun Park and Ride lots to Rosslyn, Crystal City, the Pentagon, and Washington, DC. įairfax Connector is the largest local bus system in Northern Virginia, transporting approximately 30,000 passengers on 91 routes daily, and connects to Metrorail’s Blue, Orange, and Yellow Lines.

Rides are FREE for all passengers until further notice (regular fare costs $1.75). All CUE buses are fully accessible to persons with disabilities. The City of Fairfax City-University Energysaver (CUE) bus system provides regularly scheduled, low-cost transportation services to George Mason University, shopping centers, and other locations within the City of Fairfax, as well as the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metrorail Station. The DC Circulator delivers affordable, comfortable, and efficient bus service that connects people to popular destinations, culture, and entertainment throughout the District. The system consists of six distinct routes across Washington, DC into Rosslyn, VA, and services each stop every 10 minutes.

This service also operates the free King Street Trolley, with access to King St-Old Town Metro station. Just hop on and ride! Most DASH routes connect with either Metrobus, Metrorail, or the Virginia Railway Express (VRE). No SmarTrip card, DASH Bus app, or cash necessary. ĭASH provides the only fare-free bus service throughout the City of Alexandria, Virginia. All ART routes connect to Metro stations located throughout Arlington County. Fares can be paid with a SmarTrip card, 7-Day Regional Bus Pass (loaded on a SmarTrip card), or cash. ART operates in neighborhoods throughout Arlington that are not serviced by Metrobus and helps to increase the frequency of buses on crowded Metrobus routes.
